So I have been looking at eBay at bumpers for Denali trucks, and from the exploded parts view, it almost looks like the only real difference between a Denali bumper and a regular Yukon bumper is the bumper cover.

So do they use the same metal bumper, but have a different cover?
The only thing that I could see that might prevent that is the fog light location.

Has anyone done the swap and can chime in and tell us for sure?

Looks like I posted this way too soon...

I found this thread that says that is the case. Now I just need to find a Denali truck to pull the grille and bumper cover off of...

You'll need the entire front bumper assembly. The actual "bumper" underneath is completely different. Once you have that put on, you put the Denali bumper cover on.

Then you'll need the grille and marker lights to compete the conversion.

I did my conversion because mine was already going into the shop to have the hood and roof repainted. You're looking at an easy $1000+ depending on labor costs. The Denali bumper cover and grille together will cost roughly $500 and the bumper impact bar is another $200+. That's $700 before any mounting brackets, lights, labor, accessories, etc. In the end, I think it was worth it and would do it again.

@W8TVI where are you located? I've got the Denali front end conversion that I was going to put on our Yukon for sale.
