"Denali" embroidered door panels for 03-05

I was kind of bummed to see that the "Denali" embroidered logo on the interior door panels of the 2000-2002 Yukons was taken out of the 03-05 models. Has anyone ever swapped the panels over? Does it require the whole panel to be replaced? Or can just that one slim piece be popped out?

My guess is because the seat heater controls changed for 2003 to include the memory seat and adjustable pedal control, that that leather piece will not work on a 2003-2006 door panel. The opening in the leather is too small for the updated larger switch. Also not sure if that leather piece can be separated from the door. I’ve not really looked at it, but I don’t think it separates.

Ah that’s true I didn’t think about the larger seat memory module. Maybe it could be carefully cut out to fit.
