Denali Gauge question

I was wondering, why did GM only give the Denali a different gauge face for the 2007 year? Is there a problem with this gauge or something?

Saw that thread before but thanks. I was just wondering, if you look at a 2007 Denali's gauge, you can tell its different than the 2008+ models. I was curious as to why they changed it, maybe it had problems or something.
