will it sit flush if the alignment tabs are gone ???

like stated, i regularly use 3m double side emblem tape...but make sure to cover the entire area so dirt and debris are locked out of the rear area causing failure from moisture

It might if I add 2-3 layers of 3M tape might see if I can locate a used emblem to try before breaking the tabs off mine other wise no way to attach it.

Does anyone work for a GM dealership see if I can purchase that piece seperate or if I can order the emblem and the piece comes with it..thanks

Where did you get your black GMC logo from?

I painted it I took the letters off (easy to pop out the emblem masked off the letters and shot it will 6 coats of glossy black.. $10 vs. GM's 120 for front and rear replacements and black vinyl does not work too well after washing and in the Florida heat.
