So unfortunately, i got rear ended yesterday in my Tahoe. When i have it fixed, i was thinking about getting a Denali rear bumper instead of just replacing the Tahoe bumper.

My question is, do the Tahoe rear parking sensors and everything work with the Denali rear bumper cover????

If anyone knows, please chime in, i am taking it to the shop this weekend (i think).

***while its there, i am thinking about getting a Street Scene Front bumper cover. What do you guys think about the Steet Scene SS bumper cover??

thanks for your help!!

What's the difference between the Tahoe and Denali rear bumper?

Everything on the rear bumpers are the same minus the trailer hitch cover and step pad fitments. The sensors will fit.

I did the same thing. It's cheaper for some reason to get the Denali cover anyways.

But your step pad won't fit right unless you get the Denali one, which runs around $300-$400.

True, if you order it online it is cheaper. Mine was quoted at $383 or something like that at a body shop.

What's funny is on the 2007-2008 models, it's all one piece, but with 2009 models, the chrome strip snaps onto the step pad. I don't know if that might change the fitment any but I just thought I'd throw that out there.

I imagine they would be the same. Go to a dealer and get quotes on each and compare I guess. The 2009 Tahoe may even use the same one...unless it doesn't have the same trailer hitch cover as the Denali. I haven't seen any 2009 Tahoes close enough to tell.

the 09 looks almost Identical to the denali. I would go with the 09 just because im not sure if there is any difference in the way the body meets the bumper from the Yukon to the Tahoe.

There isn't any difference. Basically you'll get the same bumper either way, it's just a matter of which one you choose. One might be cheaper than the other, it just depends.
