Denali roof rack removal?

Is there a step by step DIY for the roof rack removal? I have a 2011 Yukon Denali. I do not like the look so these are good to go. If anyone wants them, they are avail after removal. Thanks

1. Pop off plastic covers at the ends
2. Remove Torx bolts
3. slide the roof back (this is the hard part, as the gasket may stick. Try moving back and forth).
4. Pull roof rack upwards to remove. Ta-da

Any special way to get the end caps off? I do not want to break it lol

Small screwdriver at the base. Try forcing off with your hands, then place screwdriver inside the gap. This took me a while as the plastic was not very pliable. But don't worry, the piece is supposed to come off.
