Over a year ago (not exactly sure when it was but it wasn't that many miles ago as mostly my suv sits), i had a battery draw problem, and took my 2003 GMC Yukon XL 2500 to the dealership to figure out. They ended up replacing the instrument panel cluster, which fixed my battery draw.
I didn't notice it at first, but my DIC sometimes fades out, and turns back on. Now it has become more often. I didn't know at first what was going on as a lot of the time i don't have it show anything, but then occasionally i pressed the buttons and it wouldn't work, then all of a sudden it would show up.
Now, it happens frequently, and if something hits the steering wheel, it rattles it enough to turn the DIC display light back on.
I would take it back to the dealership, but i feel it is related to them replacing the IPC. (i drive it roughly 2k miles a year, so its hard to notice when things go wrong).
Any ideas before i take it back to them? i don't really want to pay a diagnosis fee when i think its related to their work.
