Did someone say HID reverse lights?

I decided that im going to do HIDs in my reverse lights because I have a set that the tabs have been broken off and im getting tired of having to roll my windows down to backup at night. My luck it will end up being dimmer and probably melt the taillight away but im going to try and avoid that. Im going to post up end results tonight when you can see.

u shouldve masked the reverse light before smoking the taillights. looking forward to see it in action.

Yea I know, thats why im not too worried about it getting messed up because I want new ones anyways.

I have h11 bulbs that Im going to put in that location as well. Probably install tomorrow after work. I bought some t-taps for quick splicing. I'll try to get some pics too.

if that doesnt work try installing a reverse cam..i had the same problem when backing up at night not being able to see anything

ive got one of those just figured itd be kind of cool to try.

I agree Sam, even with the low lux on my rearview camera the 5% tint doesn't help at all. The hid's should eliminate that problem.

Yeah I have like 1% tint, and the HID reverses I put in help alot!

well i got it done and it seems that there is low voltage back there because they blink for a little bit before they end up staying on. anyone have this problem?
