Thanks for the link. I know my data was less than scientific. Actual numbers can be hard to find sometimes. I do think that factory orders show in inventory on Autotrader though, but only if the dealer has their cars linked there. I ordered a couple cars in the past and they showed up on Autotrader when they were in transit and then disappeared after I took delivery.According to gmauthority, it was 8% of Suburbans, and 6% of Tahoes in the end of April.

I'm not sure if there's an allocation limit for either engine, or if it's just based on dealer orders. I imagine the reason for the disconnect between the 3% search and the 6% is since a lot of diesels would be factory orders from people who know they want a diesel.
