I'm looking in getting a 3" front and 4" rear lift for my 97 4 dr yukon...i was wondering if there is a truck that has springs that would do this, so i could just go to a junkyard and pull them...any help would be great, thanks! also my oil pressure gauge was reading just above 80 and would still move forward...i got a new oil pressure sender and it dropped the needle straight down...ideas on fixing it or would it be best (cheapest) to just put in an aftermarket oil pressure gauge? thanks again!

Just toss some blocks and or AAL under there.

how solid are blocks though...? i thought about them but i'm kind of iffy. and also how far could i push the stock shocks before having to replace them? i am trying to get 4" rear and 3" front..and just a random question how much of a lift does adding a leaf normally do? i definitely thought about that, because i'm trying to make it a towing truck

If its going to be a towing truck then get leafs and don't worry about blocks. Leafs will be better in the long run and you don't have to worry about your axle moving on you as much.

Taller leafs are also stiffer so keep that in mind. I run 6" springs on the tahoe

On the suburban I run a steel block and AAL.

FYI: you need longer shock when adding more than an inch or 2

okay that makes sense..but what about in the front? my yukon is 2wd so it has coils...so would coil spacers work for the front and different leafs in the back?
