I have a 2005 Escalade AWD with about 128K on it. I have some differential whine at 30-60 MPH. Above 65-70 MPH it goes away. Has anyone tried using Mobil 1 75w-140 synthetic to help reduce the whine? How did it work out? Is there a downside to it?
I did a search, but did not come up with anything useful. I know alot of you use Royal Purple, but that stuff is really expensive.
I appreciate the replies and will let you know what I do and how it works out for me.
