diffrence between 96-98 models to 99 ???

Well having a 99 hoe i always wonder why all the nice cheap parts are always fit for96-98 but not 99? Are there diffrences in motors/interior/body/suspenstion that has gone unoticed to me??

Thats wjat i assumed... Some lifts only are for 96-98 and im like wtf

I think it is because in 99 they started making the new body style Chevrolet, so they do it to differentiate things...so people wouldn't order a lift for their 99 OBS vehicle and then complain that it didn't fit their 99 NBS vehicle.

Something to that effect but the transfer case system did have a new offing in '98 so keep that in mind. Otherwise is it because the way Gm did the crossover on different years which creates the mess with application guides.
