And now I have no headlights, a 1500rpm idle, and a P0101 MAF code. What the **** happened. As much as everyone recommends doing that to reset faults, I thought it would be a safe way to troubleshoot my "service brake booster" message after swapping out my SBA module with a "new" one, to clear the fault.

Exactly what process did you use? If you disconnected the positive battery lead and after 10 minutes you touched the positive lead to the negative battery post before reconnecting it to the positive battery post, then there shouldn't be any problem. I'd clean the MAF (with MAF cleaner only) and try the reset process again. And check the fuse and relay for the headlight.

I did the process exactly as you wrote. And then I had the problems I've listed. I won't put it in drive to find out if I fixed my service brake booster issue, not until I get the new problems fixed. I'll have to work on it Tuesday. It's dark now and i have duty tomorrow

Weird, that reset shouldn't have anything to do with those problems. Curious as to what you find out.

Alright. It's fixed. It's one of those "I'm an idiot" moments.

Headlights: my HRK5 kit from ceautoelectricsupply.com (courtesy of tony candela, 12v electronic guru) is having an issue. I think it's the relays that come with it. I plugged the OEM harnesses back into the lights after testing all fuses and removing the fleece module, listening for the relays to click, and the lights are back on. I'm waiting to hear back from tony on that now.

The P0101 and high idle.... i should have double checked the vacuum line coming in and made sure the SBA was fully seated to the brake booster. Loose hose and unseated vacuum module = a bad day. I don't know why the loss of vacuum gave me a MAF code though. That seems odd to me.

But, problem solved, lesson learned, and I'm back to a 600-640rpm idle.

I just assumed that since the last thing I did was the positive cables to ground reset that it had to be the issue. It may be what caused Tony's relays to fail, somehow. We shall see.

Talked with tony candela a bit about the HRK not working, and we figured out that my body ground is no good anymore, even though it was working fine for the last year. He says it's common for GM body grounds to fail over time. So it's time for me to add some extra grounds. I'll add another body to frame and a body to battery negative ground. Should fix it right up.

For anyone interested in the HRK-5 kit, here's the link with description
