So I upgraded my dl8 mirrors for the dl3 signal and powerfold mirrors. I bought a new drivers side control module as well. I have everything in and only the driver's side is working. The passengers side turn signal works and so does the mirror, but the power fold will not work. I have taken apart the control module for both sides and made sure they are ok. Taken apart the mirror itself and cleaned.
Lastly, I took the passengers side mirror and plugged it into the driver's side control module and everything works fine. Power fold works too. So I know the mirror is fine.

Soo I'm guessing I have a wiring issue somewhere? Any other ideas as to how to get it to work?

If it's brand new, doesn't it have to be programmed?

Anyone help a brotha out?

The same thing happened to me as well. To make sure that everything functioned on the passenger's side mirror, I plugged it into the main switch on the driver's side and everything worked as it should, but when plugged into the passenger's side switch, the power fold didn't work. I didn't really have a lot of time to trouble shoot. I'm going to try to replace the switch on the passenger's side with a used one from a truck that had the power folding option to see if that fixes it.

I believe that a new switch will need to be programmed at the stealership!

Sorry the control module was used from a denali I bought off ebay. The mirrors I bought from fiatdale. Guess I could try the dealership. ...ughhh

Just annoying that the driver's side works fine but the passengers side won't. ...

Found your problem.

I think the passenger switch needs programming also. Even though it has the receiving plugs, I don't think the Motor pins know to be "on".

And this.

Dealership reprogrammed bcm so my passenger side and driver side both worked.
