I have installed IPCW LED tails on my Denali. When I have the lights on all 4 rows light up. Both turn signals work fine no hyper flash.

But when I brake the right inside row goes out instead of getting brighter. I know the light works b/c I hooked it up the left side and when braking the inside row brightens. I will say that the inside row on the right (that goes out on braking) seems to be dimmer than the other 3 rows when the parking lights are on.

Everything worked fine before I tried to install these on the stock tails.

Does this sound like an electrical short and where/how would I go about finding my problem? I really don't like driving around w/ out working taillight b/c I'm just asking to get a ticket for my tint :emotions122:

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thx.

I don't know whether or not you have a short. But I WOULD just send the bad light back and get a new one. These things are hit-and-miss as far as working properly, so better to just have a new one sent to you than to try to open it up and ruin your chance of a free replacement.

The light does work if I connect it to the left side so I know it isn't the light. When I connect the left light to the right side same problem light goes out on braking. I think the problem is 1 of the 4 sockets they sent is bad. I called IPCW to see if I could get a new socket to plug into the light and the guy (Danny I believe) was just a complete dick saying that if the light worked on the other side there was nothing wrong with the product but it was my truck.

I had to keep connecting and redoing the connections to try and get it to work that I broke off the wires from the original socket and had to hard wire the wires together. So I can't take it out and put the old ones back on. I think I'm just going to take it to the dealer and see if they can get it to work......
