Plan on doing a minor drop on my 95 Tahoe. It's a 4X4, and I am planning on getting it to the same height or close to what the Limiteds look like, so, I am thinking maybe 2" or 3" at max. I have read in different places that the sway bar has to be removed, but correct me if I'm wrong, but the limited had one, as do the subs.

So, I am hoping I can simply leave it in place and not really worry about it. The original plan from before was to gut the 4X4 out of it, but it snowed the other day, and I was sure glad I had it...lol. It's gonna stay.

Anyhow, any advice on this is appreciated...

You dont have to remove the sway bar if youre planning on dropping it. Just get shorter end links to compensate for the drop and you'll be ready to roll.

limiteds wernt lowered from the factory btw, just the ground effects made it look like they were. do drop shackles in the rear and crank your torsion bars down some in the front. youll keep the functionality of the 4x4 there just in case you need it like the other day.
