Do your 3rd row seats fold down flat?

I have a 2015i Yukon Denali and the 3rd row are power folding and using the buttons they don't seem to go far down enough leaving a slope towards the rear of the vehicle. I asked the dealer and they said that is how it is supposed to be, but when you look at the accessories page on GM's page there are cargo liners that show a flat rear storage area.

Anyone else having this issue?

Yes! More to the point, one side lays flat and the other does not. My first '15 had the same problem...dealer fixed it. This dealer (different state) said all of them (2) on the lot are the same...therefore that's the way it is. No sir. Not true. Lay flat is lay flat.

it works for me sometimes !

Don't push both the buttons together . First push down down the right seat (single seat) completely, after that push the left seat it would completely go flat sometimes .
That whats my dealer told me it worked but not always

....which only proves there is a problem with the system which should be fixed by your dealer.

My understanding is that the manual fold flat but the power seats do not. I looked at both and there was definitely more of a slope on the power fold seats. It was a big part of the reason I did not want the power fold seats.

Not arguing with you. I'm just saying my experiences in looking at vehicles was that the "fold flat" for the power fold seats was much less "flat" than for the manual fold 3rd row. Like I said in my post I went and looked at this difference in person before I bought because of research indicating that to be the case, and from what I saw, there was definitely something to it. Maybe the vehicles I saw in person were outliers but the 3rd row was definitely much flatter per my eyes on the manual fold vehicle. As mentioned it was a big factor for me when I was shopping because I have a very large dog and I didn't like the way the power fold seats laid down. Take it fwiw.

I'm still not entirely thrilled with the cargo area set up for dog purposes compared to how the old ones were when you pulled the seats out. Don't get me wrong I am "thrilled" that I don't have to pull out 120 lbs worth of seats and lug them around, but it's so damn high off the ground, and then you have the extra 'hump' to get over with the storage area - I have no idea how she's going to get in there. I guess I will be lifting a 120 lb dog as a trade off for not having to lift 120 lb seats.

Apologies on the thread resurrection, I folded my 2015 rears down the other day and they were up at an angle, I thought something was on the seats and powered them up and down a few times checking for a blocker of some kind but there was none. I don't fold them down all the time but of the few times I have it's been this way. Irks me to no end when I use the seats folded.
