Does '08 Tahoe LT3 include Z71?

Having discussion regarding '08 Tahoe value and the question came up on missing Z71 designation in evaluation and was told that LT3 includes Z71 in the trim line.

Our window sticker just shows LT3 option and separate line item charges for Z71 leading to question that the LT3 includes Z71.
If it is included then we paid twice for Z71.

Am I correct that LT3 does not include Z71?

I thought LT3 was an additional package that could be added to either an LT or a Z71. if that's right then a Z71 could have the LT3 package but didn't necessarily have to.

If she has RPO Z71 she would be a 4x4 with fender flares and a unique lower front fascia with more off-road clearance, the center of which is painted gray or silver in color.

There were all Z71 appearance packages, don't know the RPO, those have a Z71 emblem on the c-pillar and not a Z71 4x4 emblem, 18" wheels and the running boards are different too. I've never seen one with heated AND cooled seats.

Of course with the significance of the passage of time (who knows the author of that one?), someone could add that stuff to a Tahoe or take it off over the years.

My stand exactly. There is a line item for Z71 on the window sticker. It's a possible negotiation ploy on the other side.
