Does Tahoe front plastic bumper cover warp easily? Found a dent, is it fixable?

Hey dudes,

Bought the black LTZ last night and I found a dent in the plastic bumper by the license plate today, which is making the license plate look crooked. I tried to pop it back in place from behind but it keeps going back. I am still in my 3 day customer satisfaction period, going to be an interesting visit to the stealership tomorrow to pick my key fobs and extra key. There is no paint damage. I have never gone to one of those paintless dent removal places, how good is their magic?

My question:
Do these plastic bumpers go back to their form easily or once dented it is all compromised and the bumper needs to be replaced? It is length of middle finger to wrist. Hard to see on black, but you can see it, because it is making the license plate tilt back.

Thanks dudes

1. Yes, assuming you are referred to a good paintless dent guy, it's amazing what they can do. I'm a big believer in them after two different dent repairs by my local guy.

2. Is the dent in the plastic, or in metal behind the plastic (which is pushing on the plastic)? If the former, then maybe a body guy could use heat to mold it back into place. (I don't see how else you'd fix plastic.) If the latter, and it's behind the plastic, then I'd think that'd be a relatively easy fix.

On my white 08 Tahoe, I had a nasty dent right on the crease of the rear quarter panel. I paid $60 for some paintless dent guy to "massage" the dent out. It truly works. You could not tell AT ALL that it had ever had a ding there. If I could do it again, I'd do it. GL!

that's some good news. it is the plastic only right by the front license plate, there is no metal causing the issue
