dome lights stay on for 1 minute after truck is locked

I recently purchased LED dome lights, and they're fine. The thing is when dark, and I lock the car, you can clearly see into my car.I don't want to blow money on tints.

So I lock my car and for about a full minute, they stay illuminated.

Is there anyway to have them turn off when the truck is locked?

Welcome to TYF!! What year? Not sure but did you go into the dics there might be a setting to adjust that.

the dome override button is the only way. no way to change it. but then their always off.

i leave mine turned off ALL the time.

That is weird, I have LEDs in there and they only stay on about 5 seconds after I lock my 'Hoe. Only thing you can do is the dome override button before you get and lock your truck like, TGB, mentioned. What kinds of LEDs did you get?

Nothin special, just an 8 bulb LED at my Pep Boys. Also bought all round LED 194's for the side markers, under dash and glove box.

mines on about a minute. ive got a 99. i know haks has a 95, so that could be the difference.

i've got blacklights all in mine, so its not a bother to me.

mine stay on for a minute or so when you use the door lock inside the truck, turn off after a few seconds when locked with the remote.

ok, new question, factory or aftermarket alarm?

i think if i use the factory remote they shut off quick, but with my autopage they stay on.

if your asking me its just the factory remote. haven't had the coin to put the Viper 5901 on it yet...
