door ajar switch

hey everyone,

so my 97 2 door is having issues with the dome light...the light wont come one when i open the door but if i turn the dimmer switch all the way up it comes on. so im thinking door ajar switch since the fuse is good. is the door ajar switch a part of the latch on these trucks? cause i dont see one in the door jamb or anything.

and also my DRL dont come on....the green light on the dash comes on but no lights up front....could these 2 issues be related?

well im going to go ahead and assume that it is infact the door ajar switches in the front doors cause i opened the back door this morning and the dome lights came on.....so yeah.....

The switch is on the side of the dash where the door hits the dash.. it looks like a stick sticking out of a circle.
