hi guys , tprice here. i have to replace the 2 passenger side doors on my 96 tahoe because an employee of mine side swiped guard rails on the highway while driving my tahoe. would anyone mine explaining to me the proper way to remove the interior panels. i have purchased 2 doors from junk yard and i have to repaint doors to match my color. one blue and one white door just isnt going to cut it on a green tahoe! Since i found this sight recently i have learned a lot of great stuff about tahoes, and have started a long list of future mods. thanks

remove the trim from behind the side view mirror. then pry up on the back of the power window/lock switch assy. do not pry up from tweeter end. remove trim around door handle by prying with an flat blade between the inner plastic and the trim. then remove 2 7mm screws from door pull. the start at lower front corner and pull on door panel to realese clips. they will break. buy some extras.

first of all remove all trim. this includes the triangular piece near the side mirror, you can pull that off with a flat head screw driver. your next is the tweeter, window, and unlock/lock controls. you can pull that out with your hand, it's a clip on. then, get a small flat head and release all 4 clips on the door handle surrounding to pull that off. unscrew the two bolts where your hand lies when you close the door. you should then slowly work your way from the bottom up. they are small clips, try not to break them because the little bastards are expensive. when halfway thru remove the light fixture in the door and the bulb. from then continue to remove the clips. when all of them have been removed you can pull the door panel up then out.

I used this to help someone else out a while back, this might help you too.
I got some old pics that might help. Just use a rather small screw driver and use it to ********* at the four point that are in the pictures below. I hope this can help out a lil bit. After you undo those, just unbolt the 2 bolts in the arm rest and take off that triangular piece in the top left (for passenger side). Then take off the switch panel and unpulg the wires to them and the tweeter if you have that. The rest is prying the actual door panel off which is held together with push pin things.
