just purchased 2000 chevy Tahoe Z71. looks great but having electrical issues. when ever i open any door the horn sounds. can't figured out why. pulled fuse till get some clues... all door locks work fine??

found out this tahoe does not have a bcm......traced problem to fob receiver module which is obsolete. buy used one to test and prove problem is fixed...

Most likely you have a bad wire that is shorting to the horn. Whenever you open a door, power is also applied to the horn circuit, causing it to go off. I'm guessing you might have had an aftermarket alarm on there.
