Okay, well my wife is about to kill me. We are having a problem with the door locks on out 08 Yukon Denali
They won't go up or down on some occasions. More often not.
The switches work, seems to be a mechanical problem or something with locking mechanism

Any one have the same problem and gotten it fixed?

Something similar happened to me... turns out the fuse for the passenger side locks was slightly loose in the socket (so I just bent the prongs on the fuses a bit). It effected the locks, windows and power mirrors on the one side of the vehicle only. Yours however seems like it could be a bigger issue if all the locks aren't operating, check the fuse panel to see if something jiggled loose there. Since the power needs to flow through that particular fuse panel to operate the locks it would probably be the first place I would take a look. Especially if you are experiencing intermittent issues when trying to unlock the door using the switches on both sides, or the key fob.

I'll check it out tomorrow morning

Someone told me it's a little plastic and it's common on these trucks. But he never got back to me on what part it was

Since the switches work I would say its mechanical. Open up the door, there are some great videos on youtube on how to do that. Then lock for a the little plastic piece that hangs on to the locking bar that moves your door lock up and down, maybe that is broken. They sell them at auto parts or you can jimmy rig something. I had the same problem with out 08 and took the door apart and lubed the heck out of all the moving pieces for the locks and it works just fine now. This pic is an example of what you are looking for if broken.
