So I ordered some door poppers and solenoids off eBay ...autoloc was kind of expensive.

Where do most people put the door poppers at on a tahoe?

If you are shaving the doors on a daily driver, don't do it. They always fail. Make sure to install a manual pull so you can open the doors when it fails. The spring you just need to find a good, solid area to mount in the rocker panel usually in the corner of the door OPPOSITE of the door hinge area.

Keep the poppers oiled up for water displacement. Selonoids need to be mounted well. If you are using pipe hanger I always line it with good double side tape to avoid it loosening and shifting.
