For those who have replaced your door weatherstripping, I have a question. Was it necessary to remove all the interior trim around the door in order to do it, or can it be done with the trim in place? And if you did have to remove the trim, is it just held in place with clips? I can't find any info about it anywhere.

typically just clips on the body except for the bottom sill plate.

the clip are typically metal on the interior panel to body metal you may find some plastic ones to but they are replaceable.
