I'm considering wrapping or maybe just replacing the four door wood (plastic) trim pieces in my Yukon XL and was wondering if the oem trim pieces are sold separately? I've looked at a lot of the online sites and couldn't seem to find them.

I can't believe no one here as attempted to replace the faux wood trim interior pieces with a different color or finish. It seems pretty straight forward, however, I'm not able to locate the individual pieces to purchases. I have to believe you don't have to replace the entire door panel if a wood trim piece gets damaged.

The best place to find replacements at a decent price would probably be eBay. You might get lucky and find someone selling a complete set. I don't remember which models but there is one with a brushed finish I believe

Call the dealer, give him your VIN and he will give you the PN. They are available.

that's my next step...however, I did discover a thread where it appears all door panels need to be removed to access the mounting part of each trim piece. I'll pass if this is true. I assumed it would be like the sierra/silverado where they can be popped off.

Yeah you need to pull the panels to get them off. Why don't you just wrap them?

yes, that's another option I'm considering. I really like the rosewood slate trim...think it would look sharp with the jet black. however, i don't believe it is even a current trim option.

Maybe it will be for 2017?

Painted all my trim in my NNBS black and will never go to anything but. Look at my build thread on the pickup in my signature.
