Picked up a 2000 Escalade w/ On-star and Bose stereo. The Bose is nice but I don't use the on-star. The person I got the truck from threw in a double-din unit.

It also comes with a iPod integrated cable.

Now the downsides to this install: I have a iPhone 5 so this cable won't work but I wanted some sort of docking station to install, any ideas or recommendations?
Second, I want to keep the Bose system but not the On-star so much. It was recommended to pick up this wiring harness http://www.crutchfield.com/p_127OS1BOSE/GM-Factory-System-Integration-Adapter.html?tp=3486
Anyone done this install and have some recommendations?
