Happy 4th everyone.

Got an 09 tahoe. During winter, passenger footwell is drafty/cold breeze flowing. Wife complains constantly.

Anyone have the same issue? Point me to a link on how to correct this?

I've found some similar posts but they are for earlier years (pre04).

Got some down time this week, figured I'd see of I can fix this one.
Thanks

Have you checked the door seal for age, compression, damage?

Look to see if where the a/c drain hose comes out and see if the is a gap there. I believe there should be a grommet type seal there as well. Have you looked for any damage, from the outside area of that floorboard?

The best initial advice that I can give you on this issue, is to take the truck out for a drive with someone else driving the truck. Sit in the passenger seat, and while the truck is moving, try to locate the exact location/source of the breeze. Move the heater/AC controls through all of their functions, hot and cold, fresh and recirculate, and document any changes that occur, as related to the breeze.

Let us know what you find.
