Anyone have issues with their driver side mirror? My passenger side mirror is fine but with my driver side mirror, if there are headlights more than say 100yds back, I get two sets of lights. Kind of like if you went cross eyed and are seeing two sets of the same light. It's quite annoying and I was wondering if a new piece of mirror glass would fix this or if it was just how it is. Odd how it's only on the driver side though. Passenger side is perfectly clear.

The higher up models have heated, turn signal, power folding, auto dim mirrors. The auto Dim feature is like two pieces of glass with a LCD type liquid in the middle.

My guess is that something is wrong with that liquid in yours. Also guessing that yes, new glass would fix yours. I think this is the correct one, but verify first

BTW - I only know about the glass and liquid because someone smashed mine, the liquid got on the paint and ruined it

Ok yeah mine is a lt z71 but I have auto dim power folding turn signal mirrors. That's a good point. The auto dim still works though.

Thanks for the response!

It's the auto dim. I had the same issue with my 04 Silverado. Eventually the mirror glass will become unusable.
