Hey guys,
I need your help brainstorming/engineering... I have the 4" BDS lift on my 2013 Z71 Tahoe. I probably stretched the tire size too big with 34" Toyo MTs, but she really sits and looks nice. The only rub that I have left after my local shop trimmed me up is with the driver side tire hitting the front plastic fender well when the steering wheel is completely pegged in one direction. My local guys were timid to trim any more fender well because right behind there is the washer fluid reservoir, and their thought (and my initial agreement) is that we would rather rub on useless fender plastic than wear through the plastic washer fluid reservoir. But, now the rub is just annoying me and worrying me about eventually dislodging the fender well. Has anyone faced this same issue? Is there a such thing as a custom washer reservoir? Is there a way to engineer one so that it does not run so deep into the engine compartment so that I can tuck the fender well tighter? Thanks in advance for any ideas.
