Drivers side door super hard to open from inside.

Firstly hello folks I just picked up a 2000 Tahoe Z71 OBS a couple weeks ago and this drivers side door handle is bugging me. It is super easy to open from the outside but super hard to open from the inside. I have done a bit of googleing and it seems pretty common but couldn't really find a good fix. Any info would be much appreciated.

...And yes for you forum jockeys I did a search for "door handle" and "door hard to open" in hopes this was something already posted but couldn't come up with anything.

I think the inside door handle is bent and not actuating the latch assembly. You are probably going to have to replace the handle assembly.

Well after some research. I looked inside the slot that the handle comes out of and tada there is were it's broken! Picked up a new handle today at O'Reilys gonna put it on while I'm camping this weekend!

Was it the inside handle you replaced or the outside? I also am having this problem
