I'd say do a nice set of Monros on all four corners and maybe the LTs you recommended and it will ride good again.
Also what Blue asked is important, do ou have Autoride or not?

x2. How old are the shocks?

I'm guessing it's riding like a low quality plastic kids swimming pool instead of a jacuzzi.

it does not have auto ride another friend said after market air bags would help too. I had a '98 with springs, it rode more like a truck. I'd like it to ride somewhere inbetween. Premium shocks ?

Personally I would recommend BellTech Street Preformance shocks. I noticed a HUGE improvement in the ride quality and there's significantly less body roll. If you're as low as me then you will also notice you don't bottom out into the rear fender lip as much either due to how stiff the shocks are. I'm still intending to get helper bags to lesses the strain on the rear suspension and stiffen up the ride a little more for huge bumps but overall I'm very please with the BT Street shocks.

BellTech makes 2 different kinds of shocks for our trucks depending on your ride height. Make sure you get the one that fits your vehicle ride height if you have a lowering kit - including the shock relocators if you have them.

If you search this topic you'll find a TON of information.
