ok so this has happened twice to me now and I'm wondering whats going on
only happens when the high beams are on for a matter of time anyways if i go to my high beams in a matter of time (not long) all the sudden My headlights go completey out ? i still have Interior/parking/tail lights just no headlights i try to switch it back over to low beams and nothing i have to turn the DRLs on just to see after a few minutes i will get a click and my low beams and high beams come back like nothing happened?
no blown fuses
no touching wires
fairly new switch

ideas?

unknown at this time.
you are overloading the circuit breaker in the switch and it is either the bulbs or yes wiring or a bad switch wiring in the high beam circuit it sounds like.
