Driving Daylights

I cant get my daylight driving lights to turn on. These are the lights below the main lights and they don't turn on in the day time or night time. I haven't checked for 12volts yet in the day time but I just want to make sure these are suppose to turn on during the daylight or if there is switch that needs to be turned on or a potentiometer light switch that need to be turned up in order for these to turn on in the day time?? Any help will be so much appreciated. My brother who is on tour right now was always bitching about these so if I can get these going I would like to help him out. Thanks in advance.

Is this for his NBS Denali or the OBS Tahoe? This is in the OBS section, that's why I ask. I can move it if it's for the NBS Denali

If this is on the NBS Denali, they will only come on when the vehicle is in drive. The bulbs and plugs are notorious for going bad, so if you have changed the bulbs, but the sockets look burnt, you need to change the sockets. Any parts store will have these in stock since it's a common problem.

If its the obs the amber light dont run during daytime... Just the low beams... If thats what u mean, the check the fuse or the honeycomb to the right of the steering column under the dash...

If OBS platform your low beams are your only daytime running lights(drl) that would be on assuming the parking brake is not even slightly depress at which point you will have no drl's.

I have a cluster of LED lights on the Socket and it maybe the bulbs are in backwards I need to check.

I got all of my daytime running lights going, the LED cluster lights that Installed were Absolute crap and neither of them worked. So I changed them out with a regular incandescent Bults and I have my running lights back again. Thanks to all this can be closed. How to I Close a thread or do I just leave it for people needing this help later on?? Thank you guys again for your help and now I know why my brother came here when he bought his Denali.
