My driver side DRL LED is out on my 2016 LT. Is there anything I can check before I take it to the dealer? Still under the 36k warranty so hopefully they can fix it. What are the odds they give me grief about my aftermarket HIDs? Really don't want to mess with putting stock bulbs back in. Already have to remove my programmer...2003f76fc644ec52d0972c55329a81a7.jpg

What are the odds they’ll blame it on your aftermarket HIDs... probably 50/50.

Hid's while putting out more light output with less watts over halogen, draws a lot more watts/voltage on start up. LED's are VERY sensitive to voltage jumps, so they could very well blame it on the HID's if they are all on the same circuit, It would be in your best interest to put your stock halogens back in.

Put the halogens back in. The dealership is replacing my headlights as I type this and I removed my LED lights before bringing it in.

When they put in a new unit it will be a complete unit with all the bulbs already installed. Good chance that even if they did warranty it with the HIDs installed (and that's a big if)--the HID kit would go *missing* on the side they replaced when they put in a new complete unit.
