DRL upgrades

Other than HID's, are there any aftermarket replacement bulbs for the DRLs that are brighter than stock?

im sure there are, just like any other bulb thats you can buy thats brighter than your factory headlights. i replaced mine with a whitish blu bulb to match my HIDS

im getting HIDs in the next week or so and I want some to match also

I couldn't find the bulb before but I looked again, this is the replacement bulb #
4114LL

hirs bulbs are pretty bright



I just put Silverstar Ultras in last spring, before I'd heard about HIR's. If/when they burn out I think I'll try the HIR's.

didn't someone fit 9006 bulbs in them a while back? required patching in a 9006 connector to replace the drl connector, that I recall, but i can't seem to find the article anymore.

not sure i see the point of having brighter DRLs, especially since they are only on during the day.

Brighter DRL's because the next step would be a mod to keep them on with the lows.

Someone patching in 9006's does sound familiar. Seems like I was wondering if the heat would be an issue in the DRL housing.
