Finally got my pipes in the mail and put them on. It was not without a lot of cut and fit and refit and cut. I'm not overly pleased with them. They don't fit the way the ones I replaced do and in a couple spots they actually clank against something. It was quite an effort involved putting them on in the street in front of my place too. Gonna have to modify the ends cause they come out at a different place and the hangers were challenging too. They will suffice for now but I plan on replacing them with stainless and will have them bent to fit better when that time comes.

Did you order the pipes as a kit? What brand? Who from?

It was a kit I ordered and after talking to the person from their site, he said some "minor" trimming on the end would be necessary. I waited about a month to 5 weeks to get it. 2.5" mandrel bend over the rear from the muffler back. I had to cut both ends to get them to fit decently. Driver's side is too close to the rear shock and the other side is close to the rear shackle mount. Hangers aren't in the proper places to hold the pipes.

Thats too bad. If I dont get an order witihin one week, I'm not satisfied. I have no shame in cancelling an order. Summit has my orderes no later than 3 days. Thats service...........

Well, you live and you learn. Next time do some more research and find more reputable companies to deal with.

doofus, shoulda bozed up and sent back...
Cant get money for cut up pipes..

Didn't have much choice on the pipes. Mine had been patched so many times the patches were shot. Any way they'll do for now till I get the stainless pipes and have them bent properly. As far as research goes, I will check here on TYF before obtaining any new stuff. At the time I ordered the pipes, I didn't know this site existed. Since joining, I have gained much more knowledge in that area. Lessons Learned.....
