For those that have done the 2 battery setup. Did or would you connect you radio to the second battery or leave it on the first?

radio connects to the radio harness, no reason to change it. If you have aftermarket amps setup some people run them on a 2nd battery and/or capacitor.
I’ll be running two amps on a second battery. Just haven’t found anything good online talking about it

It doesn't matter which battery you connect your amplifiers to UNLESS you are isolating one battery for vehicle-off reserve (running the stereo with the engine off) OR you have an isolated high end battery (like an Optima Yellow Top or one of those car audio batteries) and want to run the system off of it vs. a normal starting battery.

That’s exactly what I planned on doing. I’d love to have the option of turning on the radio without the key in the ignition. Really wanna have all the audio run off the second bat. Gonna run a YELLOWTOP separated with an isolator.

Consider getting a Odyssey. Optima batteries haven't been that great in the past few years.
