I'm trying to wire up a overhead dvd player in a 2001 yukon the dome light has three wires gray-white, black, and red-orange.
The dvd player has four wires blue labeled door, red labeled acc+, black labeled ground and a yellow labeled +12v . I have been messing with this thing all day the best I can get out of it is the dome light on the dvd play lights up with the door closed open the door it gos out.

Acc goes to an accesory switched 12v power
12v is constant
Black goes to metal
It's really pretty self-explanatory.
You can get all three from behind the radio in the radio harness.
