E brake

its time for my truck to go thru inspection everything went fine until it tried my e bhrake it went straight to the floor so i falled checked cable from ped to the rear its a little loose but not broke it was workin fine up until i had my trans repaired is there anything i should be lookin for help would be appreciated need to fix before end of month (tags go out).

You should be able to adjust the cable. Have you already gone to an inspection place already? I took mine and they didn't even check out the e-brake. They made sure everything else was fine minus the e-brake. If the adjustment is maxed out, and you have drums in the rear then it's time for some new shoes.

yeah ,there pretty strick down here in TN.They check eveything.
