E-fan wiring question

A couple days ago I purchased an efan harness from another member on here. Shortly after I received it I realized that its the dual pin 03+ harness. I need the 00-02 single pin harness.

My question is, is it possible (easy) to rewire harness to work with my truck? Possible to change the AC trigger on this harness from the negative PCM trigger to the positive AC trigger? I read somewhere that a guy added a relay to a factory 05+ harness to make it work with his 01.

If its too much work I'll just re-sell this harness and purchase the one correct one...but If i can modify this one it would be great.

I sent Justin an email but haven't heard back...figured this would be easier

I would not recommend rewiring the harness, as you could compromise the integrity of it. I have seen quite a few relays go out, due to folks trying to modify it.

I am on work travel at the moment, but Justin may have more insight as to whether or not you can still use that one, and if so how.

Ok thanks Jenna. Hope to hear from Justin soon. I work at a speed shop so rewiring the harness shouldnt be a big deal, but I might just order the one I need from you guys and sell this one on here

I used an OEM relay setup on my 2001. The OEM relays are setup for the dual pin configuration. All I did was wire in another relay to my AC compressor wire to send a ground to the trigger wire on the dual pin relay harness. It has been wired up like that in my truck for over a year with ZERO problems.
