(disclaimer: If you don't have 'bump stops' or equivalent, or thing they are not needed, PLEASE don't Post, just click the back Button. Thank You)

I've been searching here and the webz, still, this is very confusing to me on an part that should be so easy. Since we have an Forum for Street and Lifted Suspension, i feel like the Basic stuff was left out. Thats why i post here in the General Forum(Mod's, please feel free to move).
Anyway, i did new shocks and sway bars this last weekend and have seen that all bump stops, front and rear(yes, yes, yes, i know that there is actually an specific name for those sugars in the front, that i can't remember right now) are gone on the 253k kon.
So, i was searching and searching and ended up with a lot of GM part # like, 15835666, 15015538, 15153959, 15153958, 15039397.........
And' most of the Time there are no Pictures available. !

Wow, i have headaches now.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on what to buy for a regular hight 2004 Yukon Xl SLT, 5.3L, 2WD ?
The more Info the better, maybe i can go with some aftermarket stuff and drill holes in them, cut them down and who knows what else. At the moment i just seeking OEM numbers. THEY MAY DO NOT LAST LONG, but i would be able to take pics and get correct dimensions off of them.

My next step is to stop at the stealership and inquire about those Parts.
I have hope to find the answer here and order this stuff before the weekend.
Thanks fellow TYF'rs.

I think the correct term is "jounce stop"

This thread

http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42489

says the

Stock part number is 15161762

and

Z71 part number is 15153959

Street = Stock height and lowered
Lifted = anything above stock

(I'm working on fixing the definitions tonight) :Handshake:

Thats the word, "jounce Bumper". And than there is something like an 'progressive spring bla, bla. :)
Anyway, thanks for the input about the "12474008", it came up w/o Picture again.
Thats just reticules, 12million + cars/trucks/suv's supposedly have been sold on the NBS, and there is no concrete info on the most basic stuff like this.
Don't get me wrong, after all i love it. If i had seeked straight 'bolt on', i had a pony or and import. lmao. Never ever i had imagined that i face research and challenges with my Son's GMC as i do with my 95 T-Bird.
Guess i have to find a way to sneak away from work(lunch Break) and deal with the StealerShip.
Will follow up for those who are not Lowered, or Lifted.
Still have lots to learn here, and on my own. Thanks anyway for anyone who gives some input.
Slime, Slime, THANKS "NathanJax" for your fast response and trying to help.
:roflbow:

To all others, excuse if i come off madly.! >>

"Thanks Admin, for moving this to the correct Forum. Now i know were to post next Time".

Achtung: Please note that this is for an 2004 GMC Yukon XL 1500, 5.3L, 2WD. NOT lowered nor Lifted. Plain and simple STOCK ride Hight.

As of today, 08/05/2014:
Rear (S) Bump Part # 15039397
Front (S) Bump Part # 12474008

Here are some Pictures and Dimensions from the REAR Bump stop. Old and New. Got them from the StealerShip today. To my surprise, all was ($60.00) cheaper than expected.

I'm due for a complementary Multi Vehicle inspection this Saturday and pick up the other Bump Stops (1x for the back and two(2) for the front).

Will Follow up with more findings/sizes.

Ok' the backs are Working. The front Parts # is off. Just like GMC seems not to know chitt about there own stuff.

Here are the (non Working) Fronts. GM # 12474008

Here is a Printout from 2008, look at # 13. It shows the non Working Stops.

Here is a Printout from 2011, look at # 54. It shows the Working Stops. (GM wasn't able to find a Part # on those when i Ordered and told me, the other ones above are the correct ones).

I did the Rears this evening and had a look at the fronts, to do them on the weekend. Good thing it, the current item will not work. It should look/be like the rears, just smaller in Diameter. It's the same system mounting for rear or front. Back to the Dealer. (Sad, since the 12474008 are better quality)

Note: I replaced the shocks with Bilstein's and installed the Eibach sway Bars.
The biggest improvement i noticed was with the stupid front "jounce stop's".
