Early OBS doors on a newer OBS?

I found a MINT '93 Suburban w/ absolutely zero rust on the doors at the local junkyard, I can get the doors for $40 each, and the hood and tailgate for $35 each.

My questions are:

Will the doors with the older-style interior trim work on my '96? I know the inner panel of the doors unbolts to give access to the guts of the door (window tracks, etc), but will my current '96 inners swap onto the '93 inners w/ no issue?

Will there be any issue with the electric window motors and switches? Do the connections mate up, or will I have to cut and solder the wiring if I can even use the '93 doors?


I hate to pressure you guys, but I want to grab them before someone else does, things like these go pretty damn fast!

88 through 00 the doors are all the same. its the inside and that black part that holds the doorpanels that are different. you basically need to take the shells then swap the guts. Simple install, just time consuming and painting wise on the outside..

That's pretty much what I thought, but the boneyard's computer system doesn't show that it'll work. I figured if anyone had any real-world experience, it'd be guys here on TYF.

Hope I have enough time to go back and get them before they are gone! Work today, hopefully I'll finish with some daylight left (yard is open till 7pm).

Good rust free doors are always a bonus...I am looking for black ones for my Tahoe...
