I am about to purchase a 2004 Yukon. As its now 2016, all of my music is on my phone. I don't own a CD burner anymore.

I've looked at a bunch of tutorials here but most require soldering stuff / splicing wires. I have no idea what I'm doing and don't own a soldering iron.

I also don't really want to get a mew head unit. The cheaper ones are too cheap lookingredients. So I'm ok with spending a few bucks to get this done and keeping the stock system.

The truck has bose and XM.

I have an iSimple unit on my 04. It works, but it can be buggy occasionally. Remember you have to have some sort of peripheral ( Sirius/XM, RSE, console tape/CD) input on the OEM head unit for any of them to work unless you have a service center activate an input on it.

I spliced into my xm signal. I hooked up an aux port and mount in the cubby next to the cigarette lighter. In xm mode, switch to channel and there is your aux input
