Installed the cam today and it was a piece of cake. Only thing is, the fit of the monitor isn't perfect. Is everyone's like this?

That's what it's called (there is a long thread somewhere about this camera). I think I need to do some modding with a dremel to make it for better

Thanks for the link

Yesterday after I replied I sought out my own solution, what I ended up going with was this:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p5713.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0&_nkw=25958623&_sacat=0&_from=R40

snagged a cam off of amazon, going to give it a shot and see how it works. Might be handy for backing up to the trailer by myself!

The seller seems like a super guy, he answered all of my questions regarding the install. I'm losing the onstar buttons, but don't it anyway in either of my trucks. Didn't like the idea of using the PAC with my TnR NAV and the coastaletech lockpick doesn't seem to support our Class 2 bus anymore, it's all gone to GM LAN

Does the camera work well at night? How long is are the wires? I have a Suburban that I want to install this camera on.

Works so-so at night. I can see but it's not the best quality. I had about a foot of slack (ran on passenger side). For $30 I'm satisfied with it. You should contact the seller to get the specs on the wiring length before you order.
