ebay pocket fender flare quality?

has anyone bought pocket fender flares off eBay? are they similar to the bushwhackers? what do i need to know when buying these cheaper ones off eBay in regards to painting them? is "abs plastic" good to paint? if i keep them flat black, will they fade faster than the name brands?

I bought some ebay specials for about 150.00, they were crap! Sent them back immediately. Just got Bushwackers and the quality and fit are night and day. Now I see why the good ones run 400.00+
