Hi I just replaced my thermostat and when I did that I disturbed the wires that were hooked up to the bolt on the right hand side of the thermostat housing.

Any idea what those wires are?

I didn't really bother hooking them back up so they get good connections 100% of the time, and ever since then my airbag light has been flickering in and out and on and off. Also when I've been driving for a little while and park to idle the dummy light comes on saying check engine soon. But goes off when I rev it a little. Any thoughts on what all broke or where my best place to look first. The codes being thrown are 32 and 35 for idle air control and egr valve.

Thanks

They sound like grounding wires but honestly have not seen them on a thermo housing before. They have probably have been moved from another engine ground.
