So im in the process of getting a roof rack in the next week or so and i want to mount up 5 kc lights. How i am going to power these lights?? Does anyone have a similar setup or any insight to how im going to run the power wire??

If you're not willing to drill a hole in the roof to run the wire, then you will have to run it up one of the door jambs or the rear hatch jamb. And still, that will only work if the wire doesn't get pinched too tightly when the door is shut.

I just don't want any leaks coming in when it rains. I don't have a hatch either, stuck with barn doors :emotions122:

Well if you don't mind having a permanant hole in your roof, thats the best way to do it. You just have to make sure that its PROPERLY sealed with silicone so it wont leak. I'd get a rubber grommet and drill a hole the size of the grommet and run the wires thru the grommet then seal both the grommet AND the wires going thru the grommet with lots of silicone or make an even more heavy duty sealant than that if you can find one better. I wonder if auto body seam sealer would work?
