Eliminate Rear AC in 99 Yukon

My rear AC lines are leaking on my 99 Yukon.
I never use the rear AC and don't want to replace the rear lines, very costly.

Can I disconnect and cap them in the front to eliminate the rear system?
I saw that there is a blocker kit online for this.

Does it work? Or is there another way to eliminate the rear AC?

I'm having the same problem, i think i'm gonna just plug em but havent looked for a blocker kit yet. What did you end up doing?

Yes. I went on doc'sblocks.com and got the rear caps for about $45. Also I saw on eBay some rubber lines for $180 or cheaper after I capped mine off. Had had one guy put a compression fitting of the rear line but it turned out to need the top hose on top of compressor, just saw for $45 on eBay so will get that Friday and try and redo it. May have to take to a shop because my compressor is still under warranty for another 50k miles.

I have a 99 yukon denali, I'm hoping to be able to find some caps to block the rear AC at a hardware store, not to sound cheap but $50-60 for those kits are kinda rediculous, even more rediculous to pay all that money to replace the leaking lines but anyways if anyone has any tips it would be appreciated.

Well make sure they are strong enough for the pressure. The ones I got were billet aluminum.
